| Abstract | The paper draws a comparative analysis of linguistic politeness and political correctness, studied as socio-pragmatic principles regulating social interactions, as well as categories which possess extralinguistic (sociocultural) and linguistic aspects. Their verbal realization implies the usage of different discursive strategies and substrategies. |
