| Abstract | The article analyses the specific semantic conditions in which the individualizing force of the Slavic word ‘one’ in the position of a determiner of the predicative noun is realized. Its use in sentences containing a modifier само ‘only’ for the elimination of ambiguity in meaning is investigated, as well as its expressive function in defining the personal and professional qualities of an individual. |
