By giving corresponding equivalents and comparing them, some conclusions have been drawn as regards the functional equivalents of these French terms in German and Bulgarian, including the instances of either presence or absence of metaphor in the translation equivalents. By setting the proper place and role of imagery in the material under investigation, a preliminary classification of the French metaphorical terms has been attempted.</style>
</record><record><source-app name="Biblio" version="7.x">Drupal-Biblio</source-app><ref-type>17</ref-type><contributors><authors><author><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Стефанова, Лидия</style></author></authors></contributors><titles><title><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Международен колоквиум по превод и съпоставителни изследвания между романски и славянски езици</style></title><secondary-title><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Съпоставително езикознание / Сопоставительное языкознание / Contrastive linguistics</style></secondary-title></titles><keywords><keyword><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Events</style></keyword><keyword><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Хроника</style></keyword></keywords><dates><year><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">1984</style></year></dates><volume><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">9</style></volume><pages><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">123</style></pages><language><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">eng</style></language></record><record><source-app name="Biblio" version="7.x">Drupal-Biblio</source-app><ref-type>17</ref-type><contributors><authors><author><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Стефанова, Лидия</style></author><author><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Манчев, Йордан</style></author></authors></contributors><titles><title><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Симултанният превод – психокатализатор на потенциалната интерференция между родния и чужд език</style></title><secondary-title><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Съпоставително езикознание / Сопоставительное языкознание / Contrastive linguistics</style></secondary-title></titles><dates><year><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">1978</style></year></dates><volume><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">3</style></volume><pages><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">62–72</style></pages><language><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">eng</style></language>
<style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">The knowledge of the structural and semantic correspondences and differences between the native and the foreign language is an important prerequisite for increasing the effectiveness of foreign language teaching by recognizing, in time, the errors due to interference factors. Traditional studies lack the complete reliability and objectivity of the registered primary information: conditions change, perceptions are momentary and the researcher’s approach is subjective. A hypothesis about the role of simultaneous translation as a psycho-catalyst of potential interference has been formulated on the basis of psycholinguistic analysis. The hypothesis has been tested experimentally, through electronic equipment with no contact at all, under equal conditions, which has ensured an objective recording of the primary information and of the errors and has ultimately created the conditions for their rigorous typological classification. The statistical data processing has proved the applicability of the conclusions to generalizations. The results are to be subjected to further tests aiming at an objective establishment of a system of the most typical differences between Bulgarian and French and the determination of the most effective methods used in language teaching.</style>
</record></records></xml>
